About us

We are proud to offer a monthly subscription service.  Inside each unique box is a variety of products for your health.  In our store, you can see exactly what items are available in this month's box.

It's through our indigenous knowledge that we share with you the benefits of California Native Plants.  Hand gathered, naturally processed and made into useful products organically.

Our Mission

Our mission is to revitalize and share the knowledge of Southern California's native plants, highlighting their healing properties and promoting their use in modern wellness practices.  Our ancestors harnessed the healing properties of these plants, yet today, most people are not fully aware of or appreciate the benefits offered by natural remedies.

We are dedicated to preserving this knowledge, conserving natural habitats and advocating for the use of native plants to support the health and well-being of all living beings on Earth.   Through our ancestor's invaluable wisdom, passed down through the generations, we aim to contribute to a healthier and more sustainable future for our planet.

Our Process

At Ahnoven, we prioritize environmental sustainability for our products by exclusively seeking out California native plants that would otherwise be discarded during land maintenance activities. We do not forage for native plants but rather collaborate with private landowners and community organizations to salvage native plants that are removed during their annual or seasonal maintenance operations.

We then employ a combination of traditional and modern techniques to transform the plants into therapeutic products. Our commitment to a closed-loop system ensures that all processed biomass is composted and repurposed as nutrient-rich soil for use in urban farms and ecological restoration projects across southern California.
